Jorgensen Center tickets & upcoming events

If you’ve never been to the Jorgensen Center in Storrs Mansfield, you’re missing out on a real gem. This place is basically the heartbeat of the UConn School of Fine Arts, and it’s buzzing with over 100 performances every year. From student showcases to big-name acts, there’s always something happening that’ll catch your eye. The auditorium itself is massive, seating over 2,100 people, so it’s one of the biggest venues around Connecticut, which means you get that grand concert hall vibe without leaving campus. And don’t worry if mobility’s an issue, the center is well-equipped with accessible options, making sure everyone can enjoy the shows without a hassle. I’ve seen some pretty incredible performances there, especially when local artists get the spotlight, and honestly, the energy is contagious. Planning your visit? Use their interactive seating chart to snag the best seats, whether you want to be up close with the band or chill in the back. Oh, and if you’re bringing friends, check out their group discounts; it’s a great way to make the night even more fun. Just a heads-up, always peek at their website for event updates before you go, nothing worse than showing up for a canceled show. Trust me, Jorgensen is more than just a venue, it’s a community hub filled with surprises waiting to be discovered.
